Enjoy a fantastic Ecological Adventure in the Dominican Republic as you travel through the East-Northeast Coastal Plain. We depart from your hotels in modern and comfortable buses and travel along the Coral Highway to Miches, a small fishing village.
Los Haitises National Park is one of the world's four most important Classic Parks, with a diverse fauna and flora, including endemic species.
We'll visit two (2) Caverns in the Park, which have Petroglyphs and carvings on the rock walls. There, you can admire the Tainos' art, learn about their history, and see the various bird and mammal species that live in these caves. We will also visit several Mogotes or Atolls scattered in the sea surrounding the Park's northern part, which are home to dozens of bird species.
Following the Park tour, we proceed to the pier to reach the Hotel Paraiso Cao Hondo. This Ecological Hotel, nestled at the foot of the mountain, has the luxury of irrigating its pools with pure and crystalline water from a river that rises in the heart of the Park, where we enjoy a refreshing swim.
It is here that we eat lunch with regional specialties.
After lunch, we take the bus to Montaña Redonda (Rounded Hill), which we will climb to the top in a Safari Truck; this has a special location, being in the middle of two large lagoons (Laguna Limón & Laguna Redonda), with a spectacular view, appreciating both the Bay of Samana, as the Peninsula, much of the Eastern Cordillera, and the Atlantic Ocean.
Then we begin our descent until we reach the bus, which will take us to your hotels.

09:20 am - Arrival at Miches
10:10 am - Arrival at Sabana de La Mar. Boarding and departure to Los Haitises.
11:35 am - Arrival to Los Haitises. Tour.
12:45 am - Departure to Restaurant in paradise Caño Hondo.
