Swim with dolphins in Punta Cana! Swim with dolphins, interact with them while they kiss you, cuddle with you and do aerial acrobatics for you. The Royal Swim with Dolphins program is described as the most dynamic activity at Dolphin Discovery. The Dolphin Royal Swim is the perfect combination of action and nature.

What you’ll do

  1. Pickup at your resort

    Guests are picked up from major Punta Cana hotels. Pickup times vary by location.

  2. Transfer to the dolphin habitat

    Travel to the marine center where dolphins are cared for.

  3. Welcome and briefing

    Receive a short orientation on dolphin behavior, safety, and how each interaction will work.

  4. Gear and water entry

    Put on life jackets and move to the deep-water swimming area. Basic swimming ability required.

  5. Royal Swim experience

    Interact with dolphins through hugs, kisses, and hand targets, then enjoy the signature dorsal tow and foot push.

  6. Free time and facilities

    Relax at the beach club, pools, jacuzzi, and common areas before departure.

  7. Return transfer

    Return to your hotel by shuttle.

We had such a great experience in Punta Cana with Punta Cana Adventures. From booking up until the night before our dolphin encounter adventure, Punta Cana Adventures were very communicative and quick to respond to any questions I had via email and text. Our guide/ trainer Chelo was great! We were able to interact with two dolphins, manta ray and we snorkeled with sharks. We had such a wonderful experience. We were with my two sons, one which has autism. I let the trainer know in advance and they were very attentive. When my son needed a break, we were able to sit in the deck/bar area, have some food and drinks and enjoy the beautiful scenery. We watched boats go by, and watched the pelicans fly by. I would book future adventures again.

  • Not suitable for pregnant travelers.
  • Children must swim with adult
  • Childs must be 1.2 meters or 4 feet minimum to be able to participate in this excursion
  • Children over 4.6 feet will be able to participate alone in any of our the adult rate
  • For safety reasons, cameras are not allowed in the water, professional photographs will be available for sale
  • Cell phone photography is not permitted.

Do you pickup from our hotel or Airbnb?

Yes, roundtrip transportation is available for all hotels in the Bavaro/Punta Cana area. Transportation can be accommodated for most Airbnb's as well.

What's your refund policy?

Cancel up to 24 hours before your activity starts for a full refund.

Am I able to reschedule?

Yes. We can reschedule your activity as long as you notify us in time. If we cannot reschedule due to matters outside of our control and were notified 24-48 hours in advance, a full refund will be issued.
