What you’ll do

  1. Pickup at your resort

    Guests are picked up from their hotel lobby in the Bavaro or Punta Cana area. A small surcharge applies for pickups in Uvero Alto.

  2. Transfer to the cooking venue

    Travel in an air-conditioned vehicle to the class location, where your instructor welcomes you and outlines the experience.

  3. Welcome and introduction

    Learn about the origins of Chillo al Coco and the influence of Taino traditions in Dominican cuisine.

  4. Hands-on preparation

    Clean and season the Red Snapper with fresh herbs and spices, then extract coconut milk to prepare the creamy sauce.

  5. Cooking session

    Combine the fish with peppers, onions, and garlic, letting the flavors simmer to create a rich, authentic dish.

  6. Tasting and sharing

    Sit down to enjoy your meal with appetizers, cassava, plantain, and rice while exchanging impressions with your instructor.

  7. Return transfer

    After class, board your transport for the ride back to your hotel or designated pickup point.

Yes, roundtrip transportation is available for all hotels in the Bavaro/Punta Cana area. Transportation can be accommodated for most Airbnb's as well.

Am I able to reschedule?

Yes. We can reschedule your activity as long as you notify us in time. If we cannot reschedule due to matters outside of our control and were notified 24-48 hours in advance, a full refund will be issued.
