What you’ll do

  1. Pickup at your resort

    Guests are picked up from Punta Cana/Bávaro hotels. Pickup times vary by location.

  2. Transfer to the dolphin habitat

    Travel to the marine center where dolphins are cared for.

  3. Welcome and orientation

    Meet trainers, receive safety guidelines, and learn how the interaction experience works.

  4. Gear and platform setup

    Guests receive life jackets and enter the shallow-water platform; no swimming ability required.

  5. Dolphin encounter

    Enjoy guided interactions such as handshake, hand target, hug, smile, and gentle touches while learning about dolphin behavior and conservation.

  6. Return transfer

    Return to your hotel by shuttle.

We had such a great experience in Punta Cana with Punta Cana Adventures. From booking up until the night before our dolphin encounter adventure, Punta Cana Adventures were very communicative and quick to respond to any questions I had via email and text. Our guide/ trainer Chelo was great! We were able to interact with two dolphins, manta ray and we snorkeled with sharks. We had such a wonderful experience. We were with my two sons, one which has autism. I let the trainer know in advance and they were very attentive. When my son needed a break, we were able to sit in the deck/bar area, have some food and drinks and enjoy the beautiful scenery. We watched boats go by, and watched the pelicans fly by. I would book future adventures again.

You were in constant communication and when we had a question you promptly responded. We would absolutely use your company again! Great customer service!   • Children from 6 to 12 years old are considered minors and must be accompanied adult
  • the use of personal cameras is not allowed at the time of the swimming experience
  • Can purchase your photography package at an additional cost
  • Pregnant women up to 5 months can only participate in the Dolphin Funtastic program
  • Cell phone photography is not permitted.

Do you pickup from our hotel or Airbnb?

Yes, roundtrip transportation is available for all hotels in the Bavaro/Punta Cana area. Transportation can be accommodated for most Airbnb's as well.

What's your refund policy?

Cancel up to 24 hours before your activity starts for a full refund.

Am I able to reschedule?

Yes. We can reschedule your activity as long as you notify us in time. If we cannot reschedule due to matters outside of our control and were notified 24-48 hours in advance, a full refund will be issued.
