What you’ll do

  1. Pickup at your resort

    Guests are picked up from their hotel lobby in Punta Cana or Bávaro. Departure from Bayahibe starts earlier to ensure timely arrival.

  2. Transfer to the port

    Ride in a comfortable, air-conditioned bus to Las Cañitas dock, where you’ll board the boat to Samaná.

  3. Boat ride to Cayo Levantado

    Cruise across the bay toward Cayo Levantado

  4. Lunch and Cayo Levantado

    Head to Cayo Levantado (Bacardi Island) to relax on its white-sand beach or swim in crystal-clear waters and have a typical Dominican lunch.

  5. Boat ride to Samaná

    Cruise across the bay toward Samaná, enjoying scenic coastal views along the way.

  6. Safari truck Ride

    Board a safari-style truck to explore the countryside and head to The Waterfall entrance.

  7. Horseback ride to El Limón Waterfall

    Enjoy a guided 40-minute ride through the rainforest to reach the 67-meter-high El Limón Waterfall, where you can take photos or swim in the natural pool.

  8. Return transfer

    Take the boat back to Las Cañitas and transfer to your hotel. Approximate return time is late afternoon or early evening.

It's one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Dominican Republic. At 52 meters high, the waterfall offers a spectacular setting. There is a pool where the waterfall lands, which is open for swimming. There are a lot of people since many tourists choose to go there while visiting the eastern part of the country.
